The History Behind Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes!

Many wizards and witches travel Diagon Alley both day and night, and if you have been there enough, you probably have noticed the orange two-story shop named Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes. The shop opened in the late 1990’s and has been selling sweets and joke products ever since. Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes is located at 93 Diagon Alley, we recommend you stop by and take a look at their amazing products. The store features such things like Pygmy Puffs, Skiving Snacklunches, and Self-Writing Quills! Some students buy products from WWW, intending to play pranks at Hogwarts, or even in their own homes. While others go there to buy Ton-Tounge Toffee, which makes the consumer’s tongue swell up! A popular candy at Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes is Canary Creams. These candies transfigure you into a canary as soon as you eat one, though some say they still taste quite good!

Fred and George Weasley, the owners of the shop, have always been the jokesters of their family. Both of them would often throw Dung-Bombs down the corridors of Hogwarts, or use Extendable-Ears to listen in on daunting conversations. Often times, their professors at Hogwarts would get quite upset at them for doing these things. One day, the Hogwarts Caretaker got fed up with having to clean up all of the brother’s messes, so he decided to ban them from selling, or even creating the products. Even at home their mother, Molly Weasley, often times prohibited them from making these sweets, which usually did something horrible to the consumer. Ron Weasley says this; “Years and years ago, before my time at Hogwarts, Fred gave me an Acid Pop, and it burned a hole right through my tongue! Mother gave him a good walloping after that…” On the last note, Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes is a lovely store, and we recommend this shop to all the jokesters of the wizarding world.
