House pride is an amazing thing and everyone should be proud of their house! Often times I see people complaining about their house. Hufflepuff is too boring, Gryffindor is overrated, Slytherin is evil. Let’s be honest, no one complains about Ravenclaw.
But, there are plenty of reasons to love your house and the houses around you!
Hufflepuff- First off, their common room is by the kitchens with round windows letting in beautiful sunlight. Ivy hangs from the ceilings and flowers are all about. Like what can be better than that? As a house, Hufflepuff is accepting to everyone. Hufflepuffs value hard work, patience, justice, and loyalty. These are the best traits a person can be. The openness and desire to make everyone safe and at home is what makes Hufflepuff an amazing house.
Gryffindor- Gryffindors are brave and courageous! They are not afraid to stand up for what they believe in. Gryffindors are not just thinkers but doers! Their house symbol is fire and a lion! That representation can definitely be seen in their common rooms. With hearty fires and scarlet red curtains, this inviting room can warm even the coldest nights. Through thick and thin, Gryffindors stick together no matter what happens!
Ravenclaw- Ravenclaws yearn for knowledge and learning more. They strive for amazing grades and the insight that comes from it. Ravenclaws are quirky, unique, and creative. Within their rooms, they can definitely find inspiration. Is has what seems like more books than in the Hogwarts library itself and scents of fresh parchment waft throughout. The light billows in from the spiraling tower, giving quite a home for the Ravenclaws. They are represented by one of the most amazing birds, an Eagle, which conveys the message of spirit.
Slytherin- Now this might be biased because I myself am a proud Slytherin! Slytherins are extremely ambitious and shoot for the stars! They are as fierce as their mascot! That fierceness flows within the commons just as the other three houses. With striking colors of emerald green and relics from all over the globe and from former students, it’s quite an interesting dormitory! Even Merlin, the greatest wizard of all time, was sorted into Slytherin!
