There are many wonderful and amazing places to see in the Wizarding World. Places that have been deserted long ago and now made accessible for everyone, and places that have just been discovered. Even some muggle destinations can be quite interesting. This list will help you find your perfect vacation destination.
1. Himeji Castle, Japan
Himeji Castle is a beautiful hilltop castle complex, which is located in Himeji, Hyōgo Prefecture in Japan. The castle has been demolished for reconstruction multiple times, the modern structure was built in the 17th century. It dates back to as early as 1333. The view from the castle is outstanding, you can see pink cherry trees all around the hill, as well as the Japanese National Quidditch Stadium.
2. Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany
Neuschwanstein Castle is a historical castle in Schawngau, Bavaria in Germany. This Romanesque Revival palace resides on a hill above the village of Hohenschwangau. It was built by Ludvig II of Bavaria in the 19th century. The hill is almost covered by the trees, but you can see the German National Quidditch Stadium from there.
3. Misty Dell, Forest of Dean, England
Misty Dell is the remains of an old building surrounded by a swamp in the Forest of Dean in England. Between 1997-1998, this camp was used to imprison the enemies of the Death Eaters, controlled by the Ministry of Magic. It is an interesting remain of the recent history, that tells the horrors of those times.
4. Coomcallee, Ireland
Coomcallee, also known as Hag’s Glen, is a valley within the Macgillycuddy’s Reeks mountain range in County Kerry in Ireland. Located to the east of Carrauntoohil, the valley is suitable for hiking and camping.
Gormlaith Gaunt, an Irish pure-blood witch, took her niece Isolt here to raise her, after killing her sister Rionach Sayre and brother-in-law William Sayre in 1608 by setting their cottage on fire. Isolt was one of the founders of Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
5. Falmouth, England
Falmouth is a town located on the coast of England in the county of Cornwall. This town has an important harbour, and has multiple shops and boutiques that are great for shopping. Falmouth is also the hometown of Falmouth Falcons Quidditch team.
